William Howard Oney

A memorial service celebrating the life of William Howard Bill Oney, age 52, of Newark, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, at the Hebron Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service with Pastor Mark Dymek officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 108 North 7th Street in Hebron. Bill was born August 6, 1965 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late William Clyde and Linda Ann (Tolliver) Oney. He passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at his home. Bill was the owner of Oney Construction and was a member of the Buckeye Lake VFW. He was the BEST husband, father and grandfather and loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Nina M. Cutshaw-Oney, whom he married June 30, 2007; four children, Joshua Howard Oney, Amber Dawn Oney, James Scott Foreman and Nicole Lindsay Moore, all of Newark; grandchildren, Brittany, Samantha, Josh, Mason, Hailey, Faith, Jace, Madilyn, Corbin, Savanna and Michael; two sisters, Lori Ann Wilson of Buckeye Lake and Roni Lynn Oney of Newark; a step-brother, Harry Grimes of Arizona; mother-in-law, Pauline Poindexter of Carrollton, KY; two nieces and two nephews, Devin Kahrig, Denver Oney, Jesse Oney and Chyann Oney. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Robert Oney. Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service is honored to care for Bill and his family.
