William Jeriel Kendall

William Jeriel Kendall, age 80, of Newark, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at the Laurels of Mount Vernon. William was born December 28, 1944 in Akron, Ohio to the late Simon Glenn and Mary Alice (Donahue) Kendall.

Bill was a veteran of the United States Army and faithfully served his country during Vietnam. He was a truck driver for many years and a member of the Teamsters. He was an avid reader.

Bill is survived by his sons, Jeriel Kendall of Newark and Bradley Kendall (Teri Vinca) of Newnan, Georgia; grandchildren, Janay (Donnie) Lones, Brandon Kendall, Cory Kendall, Matthew Kendall, Jacob Kendall and Tyler Tribble; great-grandchildren, Paislee, Logyn, Riley, Jackson and Ryder; sister, Lavern Smith of Terra Alta, West Virginia; sister-in-law, Joan Boyard of Spartan, Maryland; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Connie Sue (Parsons) Kendall, whom he married January 1, 1967 and who died December 24, 2020; daughter-in-law, Tonnya Kendall; brother, JD Kendall; and sisters, Alice Church and Aggie Lewis.

The family will observe a private graveside service at Fairmount Cemetery where military honors will be observed by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.
