William T. Howeth, 87, of Newark, passed away on April 3, 2015 at his residence while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Denver, CO on May 17, 1927 to the late William T. and Vera Ozola (Carder) Howeth.William proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. Prior to retirement, he was a group leader at Owens-Corning Fiberglas for over 40 years. He was a member of the Owens 25 year club; American Legion Post #85; Licking County Genealogical Society; Ohio Historical Society; and the Licking County Historical Society.He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Linda Gale and Jack Moore; grandchildren, Amy Rippel-Elton, Jack Moore III and Carol Moore; great grandchildren, Austin Elton, Dakota Elton and Mike Lemmon; brothers, Neal Howeth and James Howeth; and numerous nephews.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie J.
