William Wiese, Jr.

A funeral service, celebrating the life of William Henry Wiese, Jr., 61, of Pickerington, will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, March 9, 2015, in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service. Burial with full military honors will follow at the Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman. William died March 1, 2015 in Columbus following a brief illness. He was born January 13, 1954 in Columbus, the son of the late Williams H.Sr. and Betty Mae (Miller) Wiese. He served honorably in the US Navy during the Vietnam era. He was a self-employed truck driver. He is survived by his loving family: wife Brenda, whom he married on Feb 14, 1975, children: Betty (Dan) Waldren, William (Gwendolyn) Wiese, Robbie Slagle; 8 grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home, 285 East Main St. in Kirkersville. Memorials may be directed to the family in care of the funeral home.
