William Audrey "Bill" Worth

A gathering celebrating the life of William Audrey “Bill” Worth, age 63, of Newark, will be held from 6-10 p.m. on Monday, February 17, at the Druids Club, 19 West Harrison Street in Newark. Military honors will be observed by the Licking County Veterans Alliance at 6 p.m.

William was born July 27, 1956 in Newark, Ohio to the late Donald Thomas and Barbara Jean (Pettibone) Worth. He passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Licking Memorial Hospital.

Bill was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He retired from Licking County where he had worked in maintenance at the Licking County Courthouse and had also been employed with the YMCA. Bill enjoyed fishing, Kawasaki motorcycles, working with his hands and tinkering on projects.

He is survived by three children, Andrea Lea Worth, Heidi Dawn Worth and William Audrey “Billy” Worth II, all of Newark; step-children, Robert Tripp of Newark and Stephanie Bendoff of Columbus; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Judith Boggs, Brenda Meckley, Donna Snedden, Kathleen Worth and Sharon McCallister; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
