Pallbearers will be Jean’s daughter, Penny; her two grandchildren; her great-grandson, Josh; her great-niece and great nephew; and long-time friend, Charley Mays.

Masks are not required for fully vaccinated adults.

Jean was born June 7, 1928, in Roseville, Ohio, to the late Helen (Watson) and Walter Baughman. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Henry Huston; one sister, Laura Becker; two brothers, Bob and George Baughman; three nephews, Patrick Becker, Jeffrey Paul Becker and Steve Huston; and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law killed in a car accident in the 1950s.

Jean’s first employment was at the former Buckeye Lake Amusement Park, where she met her future husband.  Other jobs included food preparation at National Trail Raceway, at Hebron Elementary School and for a nursing home in Hebron. Her legacy is friendliness (she knew no stranger); caregiving as she helped several aging women friends continue to live in their homes by visiting them, bringing them food, cleaning their houses and taking them to medical appointments; and her big heart for giving away personal belongings and her last dime. Her pride and joy were her daughters and grandchildren.

The family issues special appreciation to all who sent cards that Jean read during her colon and kidney illnesses and to the health care workers – namely Brenda, Alice, Linda, Heather, Shane, Chris, Theresa and Kim -- who were loved ones’ hands and feet during the covid lockdown for facilities housing the elderly, including Jean.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Stephanie Spielman Breast Cancer Association.
