Wilma M. Jones

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Wilma M. Jones, 96, of Thornville will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Thornville home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Terry Borah officiating. Burial will follow at Lutheran Reformed Cemetery in Thornville.Wilma was born in Coles Park, Ohio on June 6, 1918 to the late Charles and Martha (Lute) Hetrick. Wilma M. Jones went home to be with the Lord on May 15, 2015 while surrounded by her loving family.Wilma was a devoted homemaker to her family. She was a member of the Fairfield Beach United Methodist Church in Thornville, where she played the piano and organ and was active with the senior center. She was an avid bottle collector, belonging to the Bottle Diggers of Central Ohio. She also enjoyed painting and writing music.Survivors include her children, Robert W. (Nona) Jones Sr. of Hopewell, Mary (Steve) Mohler of Thornville and William (Kathy) Jones of St. Lousiville; 85 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne F. Wimpy Jones in 1999; two daughters, Shelby Jean Daniels and Carolyn Louise Brown; and three great grandchildren.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Wilma to Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio, P.O.
