Winifred Mae Woolsey

A memorial service for Winifred Mae Woolsey, 89, of Newark, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 30, at the Newark Baptist Temple, 81 Licking View Drive, Heath, with Rev. Dr. Mark Falls as celebrant. Private family inurnment will follow in Florida at a later date. Winifred was born June 27, 1928 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Raymond and Marguerite (Abel) Billingsley. She passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017. Winifred was an active member of the Newark Baptist Temple and enjoyed sewing, reading, cross word puzzles and crocheting. She is survived by her loving family, her husband, Gene, whom she married on August 10, 1966; her daughter, Terri Shane of Newark; son, Lonnie Rymer of Newport, Kentucky; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; along with her church family at Newark Baptist Temple. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Randy Lee Rymer, in 1975. The family prefers that memorials be directed to the Generation Hospice, 1435-A West Main Street, Newark, Oh 43055. Envelopes will be available at the memorial service.
