Zachary Allen "Zach" Scranton

Zachary Allen “Zach” Scranton, age 32, of Marysville, formerly of Pataskala, passed away on May 6, 2019. Zach was born January 4, 1987 in Columbus, Ohio.

Zach was an avid fan of the Detroit Red Wings hockey team and Michigan State football. He enjoyed music and cars and loved spending time with his family, especially hanging out with his daughters. He was a loving brother and was always smiling.

He is survived by his wife, Chelsea R. (Sparling) Scranton; daughters, Aubrey, Shadelee, Lila and Abrielle; mother, Tina Gobel; brothers, Timothy Steele and Jesse Walters; sisters, Alexis Scranton (Chris Spegal) and Kristi (Christopher) Jewell; grandparents, Mae Lee and Corman Barth Scranton, Jr.; and niece and nephews, Chase, Kaylee, Caleb and Caden.

He was preceded in death by his father, Corman Barth Scranton III; and his mother, Kimberly Steele.

A private memorial service will be observed.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
