A funeral service celebrating the life of Zora B. Willis-Lopez, 92, of Etna, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2016, in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, with her grandson, Terry Nestor as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Kirkersville Cemetery. Zora died peacefully at her home on Wednesday afternoon, June 8, 2016, with her family at her side. She was born in Clintwood, Va., on November 12, 1923, the daughter of the late Ralph and Sue (Phipps) Beverly. She taught school for over 40 years, including first grade in the Pataskala Elementary School for over 25 years, touching the lives of many children and their families. A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her children Ken (Sandra) Willis, Connie(David) Moody, Karen(William) Germani, David (Pam) Lopez, Edward (Tammy) Lopez, Bill (Rosa) Lopez; 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Kenneth K. Willis and Edward F. Lopez, two of her children Karl Willis and Patricia McDaniel, and two brothers. The family will receive friends on Friday Evening June 10, 2016 from 5 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home, 285 East Main St. in Kirkersville, and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m.HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, is honored to care for Zora and her family.
