Billy Joe Craig

Billy Joe Craig, 42, of Newark, died unexpectedly while at work, Thursday, September 29, 2022. He was born May 11, 1980, in Newark to Curtis Craig and Brenda (Conley) Coulson. Billy was a hard worker and enjoyed playing video games with his great nephew Braylen. He loved Michigan Wolverines football and he cared deeply for his mother. He always looked forward to talking with his girlfriend and visiting with his best friend, Anthony. He is survived by his mother, Brenda Alice Coulson; father, Curtis Jarrett Craig; sister, Kristy (Gavin) Craig; brother, Richard (Laura) Conley; aunt, Jenny Tabor; uncle, Tommy (Missy) Conley; uncle, Gary Conley; nephew, Trevor (Allison); great nephew, Braylen; great niece, Kenzlee; numerous cousins; close friend, Kim Donaldson; and best friend, Anthony Smith. He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Jarrett Craig; maternal grandparents, Eleanor and Thomas Conley; and several aunts and uncles. Visitation will be Monday, October 3, 2022, from 6-8 pm at the Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, 179 Granville St., Newark.
