Katherine Jordan

A funeral service for Katherine Jordan, age 90, of Thornville, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, at the Thornville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service with Chaplain Daniel Fullen officiating.

Friends may call from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home, 56 South Main Street in Thornville.

Katherine, a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and a friend to many, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2022. She was born May 29, 1932 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Custer and Dora Allen.

She grew up in Columbus and attended Central High School. She worked for AAA for over 26 years. Her love for Jesus and reading her Bible were a calming, everyday part of her life. She had a passion for her flowers, gardens, and especially loved sitting on her porch watching all her birds. She was an avid fan of OSU sports and professional sports as well. She kept better stats on players and games than anyone else!

She is survived by her sons, William Jordan, Jr.  of Thornville and Brian (Darla) Jordan of Johnstown; daughter, Laurie (Craig) Feyh of Thornville;  12 grandchildren, Shannon Ryan, Jenny (Mike) Gillman, Shawn Seasor, Michael Lynch, Bradlee (Lynsey) Jordan, Bryan (Becky) Jordan, Ryan (Amanda) Burnett, Megan (John) Ruyf, Brandon Burnett, Colton Burnett,  Olivia Feyh and Mary Feyh; 15 Great Grandchildren , Alexis, Alanna, Braylon, Ava, Aubrey, Addison, Nora, Claire, Mayla, Emersyn, Ella, Scout, June, Banks, and Brecken.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Jordan, Sr.; a daughter, Suann R. Lynch; brother, Jerry Allen; and sister, Mildred Hart.

In lieu of flowers, Mom had a love for giving to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
