Glenn Ray "Buddy" Lovejoy

February 23, 1930 — April 6, 2012

Buddy died Monday evening, April 2, 2012 at his home following an extended illness. He was born February 24, 1930 in Dayton, the son of the late John A. and Maud J. Lovejoy. He was a 1948 graduate of Fairborn Bath H.S. and worked for 35 years for the Air Force, retiring from the Newark Air Force Base in 1985. He loved golfing, gardening and working with stained glass. He was a member of the Jacksontown U.M. Church and NARFEE. He is survived by his loving family: his wife Bonnie, his sons Johnny R. (Mary) Lovejoy of Denver, Colorado, Paul A. Lovejoy of Newark; his grandchildren Alexis Nicole Smith and Joshua L. Lovejoy, his great grandchildren Logan, Lane and Rider; and his brother-in-law Thomas Quigley, along with his Jacksontown Church family. His family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the services at 12:00 Noon at the Church, 9350 Jacksontown Rd. SE.
